Philippine National Squad.Overgaard has been actively involved in the sponsorship of Asian rugby for a number of years. The aim of the sponsorship is to promote rugby in developing countries while also helping to fundraise for local youth charities.
Charity Rugby Tournament.Overgaard has played a leading role in a number of major charitable events; Phuket 10's, Thailand, Manila 10's, Philippines, Fatboy 10's, Philippines and the Dubai Rugby 7's. Since 2009 we have had the privilege to be main sponsor for the Philippine National Rugby Team.
Overgaard sponsors tournaments & events.The nominated charities we normally work with are; The Ronda Butler Memorial Scholarship Fund, which raises money to enable orphans to obtain a full education, located in Thailand; Bahay Bata Orphanage, which is a Rotary project for street kids located in Angeles City, Philippines, Duyan Ni Maria Orphanage, which provides accommodation and education to local orphans, located in Philippines; and the PRFU Development Fund, which is a fund to help develop rugby within orphanages, located in Philippines.
